Charities
Muttzanita is proud to donate our proceeds to the following charities
United Paws helps the economically disadvantaged who cannot afford spay/neuter surgery for the pets they love. We help those compassionate residents who care for stray cats. We foster animals in our own homes until they can be adopted.
2009 was a banner year for United Paws! We spayed and neutered 1,027 cats and dogs, the first time we reached the goal of 1,000 cats and dogs altered in one year alone. That brings our grand total, since 2003 when we first started work in Tillamook County, to 3,700
We are honored to support their Well-Child Program that provides vaccinations, medical checkups, and other critical medical care to area children whose parents could not otherwise afford it.
The Rotary Club of North Tillamook County promotes service above self. Our local club has supported many local organizations including the Rinehart Clinic, the Women’s Resource Center, our local food bank as well as international efforts including earthquake relief in Haiti and water projects in Indonesia.
Thanks to a generous matching grant from Rotary District 5100 (our local district), we were able to double our Muttzanita contribution to the Rinehart Clinic’s Well-Child Program. We look forward to supporting this critical program in 2010 and beyond.
